The Panorama rooms are located in a beautiful unspoiled place and
few minutes walking from the beach of Mirtiotissa.
But for the visitors that want to explore and discover more than the beach and the sun
the surroundings of the beach are also interesting places and offers more sites to discover.

Following the road to the North, right above the beach, you can visit the monastery of the "Virgin Mary of Myrtidiotissa" an old monastery established on 14th century wich gives its name also to the beach and the surrounding area, for more info about the monastery click here.

After visiting the monastery you can continue in the pathway heading to North and reach to the old abandoned village of Trialos,
a small fissing village that have been abandoned from its inhabitants the last 40 - 50 years.

Continuing the narrow path the explorer heading to the top of the mountain Agios-Georgios, in the top of the mountain you will find the small chapel of Saint-George "Agios-Georgios" and also you can have ingreteble views from Ionian sea, Pelekas village, Glyfada beach and the middle of Corfu island in generaly. On the way to return you can pass from Vatos village, a quiet village resting in the side of the mountain.

Another option for walk is to Pelekas village, with 45 min to 1 hour walking you can reach kaiser's thron, a wonderful place on the peak of the mountain where you can have view from the west coast and the east coast of the island and also the view of the famous Pelekas sunset.

Two more interesting places to visit are the beach of Ermones to the North
and the beach of Glyfada to the South.
